From: "Barry Jaspan" To: williams@csd.uwo.ca Cc: krb5-bugs@MIT.EDU Subject: Re: krb5-admin/86: krb5.B7 config question Date: Tue, 8 Oct 1996 18:02:52 -0400 Doug, This is a known problem with the beta 7 release. To fix it, execute rm -rf src/kadmin/export src/kadmin/import and run configure again. Barry >Unformatted: Greetings! Just a quick and hopefully simple question. I downloaded krb5-beta7 onto my Linux box yesterday and attempted to do a ./configure on the source after unpacking the source, crypto, and doc archives. Configure went along fine until it errored out on the following: --------------------------------- cut here ------------------------------ configuring in export running /bin/sh ./configure --cache-file=../.././config.cache --srcdir=. configure: error: can not find sources in . configure: error: ./configure failed for export configure: error: ./configure failed for kadmin --------------------------------- CUT HERE ------------------------------ I checked the /krb5-beta7/src/kadmin/export directory, and found only the following files: confdefs.h config.log configure with the log file containing only the header info. So I'm apparently missing something and I was wondering if you had any idea? Thanks in advance for any help, Doug Williams williams@csd.uwo.ca
