Version: 1.2.4-5woody1
Severity: minor

At the man page for kdc.conf. Section FILES... it "points" to
/usr/local/lib/krb5kdc/kdc.conf
instead of /etc/krb5kdc/kdc.conf.

Subject: substitutions needed on man pages
Both krb5.conf and kdc.conf need substitutions done to use the correct
pathnames.

Also, krb5.conf should list all the files in the search path
(/etc/krb5.conf and $prefix/etc/krb5.conf in the normal unix build,
different on Mac I think), and if it doesn't already, describe the
interactions between multiple files.

I don't know if pathnames are put into other man pages in the tree...
Subject: @FOO in man pages
The kdc.conf man page, as installed, mentions pathnames like
@LOCALSTATEDIR/krb5kdc/kadm5.acl. Looks like the intent was for
substitutions to get done; it just doesn't happen that way.

I fixed these typos. The default filepaths in the kdc.conf and
krb5.conf manpages are correct now, I think. As for including the full
search path in the FILES section: should we also include something about
the environment variable?

Subject: man pages do not reflect --localstatedir configure option
If krb5 is built with --localstatedir=/var/db, the krb5 man pages do not
reflect the new paths in the FILES sections. For instance, the kdc.conf
man page shows "/usr/local/var/krb5kdc/kdc.conf" in the FILES section,
even though this file is actually at "/var/db/krb5kdc/kdc.conf".
