Hi there,
If you want to build Kerberos V5 for Windows '95, currently
building under the Windows 16 environment is supported, and it requires
that you do some prepatory work under Unix, first. See the readme file
in src/windows/readme for more details.

Note that this assumes that you have zip 2.0 for Unix, and that
you have MSVC 1.51 on the Windows side.

I hope this helps!!

- Ted

P.S. Please note that krb5 under Windows 16 does not build quite as
smoothly as under Unix; also, only client programs are supported --- the
KDC server still must be on a Unix machine.

I was wondering if I could get a little help. I've been attempting to
generate Kerberos on a Unix system. But infact, when I realized you
support windows on a PC, I decided to change direction and start all
over. I've copied the TAR file down to my PC but now I don't know how to
decompress the file into all the Kerberos subdirectories. I attempted to
use WINZIP but that didn't seem to work correctly or at all.

Do you have a program/procedure I could follow to get going on my PC?

Thanks

Evan
