Hi,

We like to have interoperability with DCE here, I have 2 realms
specified in our krb5.conf.

When I use the MIT's knit to get credential from our non dce kdc,
it works.

But if I use the MIT's kinit to get credential from our dce kdc,
it gives the error

kinit(v5): Incorrect net address while getting initial credentials

Can you help please? Thanks.

First, sending mail to krb5-bugs is not an appropriate channel for
requesting support using krb5. In the future, please send such
questions to kerberos@mit.edu, a public list a for Kerberos users.

Your problem can be solved by adding

noaddresses=false to your [libdefaults] section of krb5.conf.
