As I described in my last message about the new comerr, you have to make
sure that all generated .c and .h files from .et files are removed
before rebuilding. Apparently, the general rule for .et.c and .et.h do
not check to see if the et "compiler" scripts have been changed and
force a rebuild if they have.

I am not sure if there is a good general way to fix this within the
makefiles, except for explicit dependencies -- I do not know if you can
have a general suffix dependency on a compiler or alternate
object/source file.

This shouldn't be that much of an issue, since the scripts won't be
changing too often. I think only gmake will allow for explicit
dependencies to be listed in suffix rules, though.
