i860 cross compile?

>Description:
I am trying to build krb5v1.0 in an environment where the ARCHIVE command
is ar860 instead of ar. While most of the make files use the @ARCHIVE@ line,
those below src/util/db2 do not.

I have to insert an ARCHIVE = ar860 into all of these make files.
Is this a known deficiency?

Thanks,
Richard

Should be not so much of an issue with the new build system, though I
really should look into it further.
