Subject: krb5 Build Failure with glibc-2.27
Hi Team,

I am getting the build issue in krb5 with glibc-2.27. Could you please look into it?

Error log:

/usr/lib/ undefined reference to `_res_maybe_init@GLIBC_PRIVATE'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
Makefile:645: recipe for target 'test_getpw' failed
make[3]: *** [test_getpw] Error 1
make[3]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
make[3]: Leaving directory '/krb5-1.14.1/krb5-1.14.1/src/tests/misc'
Makefile:1095: recipe for target 'all-recurse' failed
make[2]: *** [all-recurse] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory '/krb5-1.14.1/krb5-1.14.1/src/tests'
Makefile:1538: recipe for target 'all-recurse' failed
make[1]: *** [all-recurse] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/krb5-1.14.1/krb5-1.14.1/src'
include/ recipe for target '/krb5-1.14.1/.stamp_built' failed
make: *** [/krb5-1.14.1/.stamp_built] Error 2

Please add your suggestion.

Thanks & Regards,

I can't easily tell what's wrong here. test_getpw.c is a very simple
program; it calls only getuid(), getpwuid_r(), printf(), and exit().
There is no reference to "res_maybe_init" in the source tree.
