Please try to use the krb5-send-pr program when submitting bug
reports; if you don't, we have to manually fix them up to show up in
our bug database correctly. It also helps us track multiple messages
that relate to a single issue.

Were there any "previous errors", or was this the only one reported?

I did try a build on Solaris 8 not too long ago, and it went okay,
though most of our production machines here are running Solaris 7, so
this didn't get a lot of testing.
